The La Porte Park and Recreation Department has a variety of indoor & outdoor activities sure to interest a wide range of tastes. There are a variety of parks just right for relaxing, swimming, sports, organized family gatherings, concerts and Winterfest. There are always creative programs for individuals and families year around, from Scrapbooking to Photography from Yoga to Kid's Camp. Talented entertainment can be enjoyed at the Civic Auditorium and the Beechwood Golf Course provides a challenge to the golf enthusiast.
