The La Porte Park and Recreation Department has a variety of indoor & outdoor activities sure to interest a wide range of ages. There are a variety of parks just right for relaxing, swimming, sports, organized family gatherings, concerts and our annual WinterFEST. There are always creative programs for individuals and families year around like, Youth and Adult sports, Ballroom Dancing, Tole painting, Cartooning, Oil Painting, Holiday Pet photo contest, Crafts, and Photography. We also offer a variety of summer camps in Tennis, Golf, Art Camp and our very poplar Summer Day Camp Program. Talented entertainment can also be enjoyed at Fox Park and the Civic Auditorium. We also have our beautiful Beech wood Golf Course which provides a challenge to the golf enthusiast.
