Ballroom Dancing
Includes smooth dances such as Waltz, Foxtrot and Tango, as well as rhythm dances such as Swing, Salsa, Hustle and Cha Cha. Meet new people, stay active, reduce stress and develop body awareness with this fun class. Go to your next party and actually be able to get up and DANCE! Class held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursdays at Cummings Lodge. Six-week session begins Oct. 17. Cost is $70 per couple.

If you are looking for a fun, creative outlet, try one of our ceramic classes. It provides a great way to get away and meet friends, all while make some unique projects for yourself or gifts for others. Class meets from 9:30 a.m.-noon, 1-3:30 p.m. and 6:30-9 p.m. Tuesdays and from 1-3:30 p.m. and 6:30-9 p.m. Wednesdays at the Civic Auditorium. Cost is $5 per class or save by paying for entire session.

Creative Movement
For preschoolers ages 2 and older, this class is a fun way for children to explore movement through music, develop physical skills, channel energy and communicate feelings. It provides children with opportunities for non-competitive success and creative experiences. Through movement, children learn about their bodies, the space around them and each other. Class held from 4-5 p.m. Wednesdays or 9-10 a.m. Saturdays at Civic Auditorium. Six-class session begin week of Jan. 13. Cost is $45 for the first child, $35 for addition child from same household.

Learn the fundamentals of photography and how to get the most out of your camera. Learn in a fascinating and fun way to become informed and inspired. For both digital and film cameras (must provide own camera and film). Class held from 6-7:30 Tuesdays at Cummings Lodge. Five-week session begins Nov. 12. Cost is $30.

Stained Glass
Learn the art of stained glass, including all of the techniques involved in this beautiful experience. Class sizes are small to ensure individual instruction. Tools and supplies included (except glass). Class held from 6-9 p.m. Mondays at Cummings Lodge. Cost is $29 plus $70 for supplies and tools. The three-week session begins Oct. 28 but is FULL. Yoga can help soothe the mind and lower stress levels by focusing the mind on the moment and movements rather than on external distractions. Yoga combines flexibility, strength training and balance to create a mind and body activity that’s a perfect addition to any fitness regimen. Class held from 5-6 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays and from 10-11 a.m. Saturdays at Civic Auditorium. Cost is $5 per class (must purchase $25 punch card in advance at Park Office).
