Civic Concert Series presents The Highwaymen Christmas Special

La PORTE, IN (Oct. 24, 2023) – It’s going to be a Country Christmas at the Civic Auditorium this year, according to Civic Auditorium & Events Director Brett Binversie.

Performing their famous Christmas Special at the historic venue on Saturday, Dec. 16 is The Highwaymen Show – a Great American Outlaw tribute celebrating the world’s most recognized country artists: Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson. A salute to the holiday show these iconic artists performed together in 1984, Binversie said their Christmas Special combines the best of both worlds.

“Christmas is always a magical time at the Civic Auditorium, and we feel that this show is a great addition to our holiday lineup,” Binversie said. “Country music fans and Christmas lovers alike will all be able to enjoy an evening of fantastic music. From holiday favorites to classic hits from some of country music’s greatest, there’s something for everyone at this show.”

Binversie said General Admission tickets start at just $10, and reserved table seating starts at $250. Sponsor tables in the first three rows are also available for $350.

Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and show begins at 8 p.m. A cash bar will be open for patrons aged 21 and older. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit laportecivicauditorium.com

About The Highwaymen Show

The Highwaymen Show is the Great American Outlaw musical celebrating the world’s most recognized classic country artists. These icons are responsible for creating a new era in country music. Our show features a cast portraying the parts of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson, as they looked in their prime. They perform their biggest hits, while telling the stories about how they grew together as friends. This show gives you the opportunity to see what they looked like and what they sounded like as they became the superstars we know today. “We feature songs like Always on My Mind, Ring of Fire, Me and Bobby McGee and Luckenbach Texas. I wanted to provide people the opportunity to a show I wish I could have seen,” Founder Gray Sartin said.
